Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 3.55%), Sobha Ltd (down 3.23%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 2.82%),DLF Ltd (down 1.84%),Macrotech Developers Ltd (down 1.54%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.83%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.22%), and Brigade Enterprises Ltd (down 0.2%).
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 2.65%), and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 2.05%) moved up.
At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 252.44 or 0.46% at 54570.91.
The Nifty 50 index was up 87.5 points or 0.54% at 16346.8.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 174.6 points or 0.66% at 26492.68.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 28.35 points or 0.35% at 8070.09.
On BSE,2006 shares were trading in green, 1239 were trading in red and 151 were unchanged.
